Ambergris is oil derived from the intestines of the Sperm Whale. This product is discharged during mating and deep ocean divers collect the ambergris which forms into solid lumps on the sea floor. This costly substance is known as the slowest drying substance in the world and hence is an important ingredient to aromas and perfumes which people prefer to last for long duration. Perfumes with Ambergris as ingredient is very rare and quite costly, but such perfumes can be considered to leave pleasant aroma all day long for perfume enthusiasts and for those who want an addition to their prized collection of perfumes.
